Compass Associates are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading Community Pharmacy groups in the search for a diligent Pharmacist to join their dynamic team within a Hospital Outpatient Department in the Truro area. As a well respected pharmacy chain, our client is committed to providing the highest standard of care to their patients. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be able to work effectively as a part of a cohesive team. You’ll have a “can-do” attitude and will have a passion for providing great care to the community.
As a Pharmacist in one of our clients hospital branches you will be given extensive and specialist training as well as gaining exposure to the hospital pharmacy environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
- Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimise patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
- Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
What You’ll Bring
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Proven pharmacy experience preferably in a hospital setting
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
- A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
Location
This Hospital is located in Truro which is commutable from Newquay, St Ives, St Austell, Perranporth and Falmouth.
