Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Warehouse Loaders to join a well-respected and successful client in Polar Park.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to additional security checks required for this role, successful applicants MUST have lived in the UK for the last 5 years, with 3 years full UK history.
What’s on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £12.86 per hour
- Shifts available: Between 8 - 12 hours (depending on the requirement)
- Shift Pattern: 4 ON / 2 OFF
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Full training provided
- Temp to Perm (performance-based)
Key Duties:
- Loading the trollies which can be up to 30KG.
- Physical tasks include check cages, high lifts, fork lifts, stocking up pushing, pulling, lifting 20kg-30kg (linens/toiletries).
- Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Trolley Inspection : Carefully check each trolley and count items, ensuring there are no foreign objects.
- Documentation : Record item numbers, sign off on the checklist, and note your name as part of the verification.
- Security checking of the trollies and reporting any findings as per your training.
Shifts:
The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 4 on 2 off rolling rota and you will need to be fully flexible with the days and hours you can work. This could be subject to change!

Requirements:
- Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card.
- This role requires you to stand for long periods of time (8 hours).
- UK Settled Status (If applicable).

- Proof of (current) Address.
- 5 Year Address History.
- 5 Year Work Reference History.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following the interview in line with CAA requirements.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the Cabin Cleaning and Transport Teams by efficiently removing soiled items and replenishing amenities across all cabins.
- Take operational direction from Allocation Control and Cabin Quality Supervisors to meet engagement and turnaround times.
- Use handheld PDA devices to confirm task completion, maintain visibility, and ensure real-time communication with control teams.
- Load new amenities and soft products into each cabin according to aircraft sector and service specifications.
- Remove used items, waste, and amenity stock from all areas, including crew rest spaces, wardrobes, and lockers.
- Conduct thorough sweeps of the aircraft to ensure all areas meet presentation and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure the Node Area remains clear, tidy, and ready for subsequent loading operations.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain Right First Time delivery and contribute to smooth, safe aircraft turnaround.
- Follow all health, safety, and airside security regulations at all times.
Shifts:

- Handle cleaning materials and chemicals with care and consideration to avoid damage or contamination.
- Report any equipment or container damage immediately to the Cabin Quality Supervisor or First Line Manager.
- Ensure all customer equipment and containers are returned correctly at the end of each service cycle.
- Respond to call backs or operational changes promptly and with flexibility.
- Keep lift and node areas clear of any DHL-accountable waste , maintaining operational tidiness and compliance.
