TILERS - HEATHROW

Our Hays office at Heathrow Airport is seeking 2 x high quality Tilers to work on various projects across Heathrow Airport.

We have an immediate start available, working on night shifts. Work will involve laying ceramic tiles on floors and walls.

All candidates must:
Hold a current passport or National ID card and valid CSCS card
Have previous experience in UK with checkable references
Have all required tools
Be reliable, punctual, hardworking and maintain a professional attitude to all tasks
Have full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - Hard hat, Safety boots, hi-vis, gloves & goggles)

Previous airport experience would be an advantage.
As signatories, we can apply for full Airside passes for the right candidates. This will be discussed during the registration stage. Initially you will be issued a temporary airside pass whilst your full pass application is processed. Once your full airside pass application is completed and a full airside pass is issued, you will be re-engaged for up to 12 months.

JIB-Qualified Electricians Needed – Heathrow Airport (Day & Night Shifts)

Position: JIB-Qualified Electricians (Various Levels)
Location: Heathrow Airport
Shift: Day Shifts and Night Shifts available (must be flexible)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate:  £22.17 to £3.57 PAYE (on the books) - depending on JIB qualification
Holiday: Paid holiday accrual
Notice:  1 week's notice is guaranteed at the project completion

About the Role:
We are currently looking for skilled, JIB-qualified electricians to join our team for a fit-out project at Heathrow Airport. 

The project involves installing cable trays, trunking, conduits, and under-floor buzz bars. The role offers competitive PAYE JIB hourly rates depending on your JIB Card level. 

Requirements:

• JIB Card Qualification: Candidates must be JIB-qualified electricians.
li>Security Clearance: A clear criminal record and five years of verifiable work history are mandatory for airside pass approval.
• Experience in Fit-Out Projects: Experience working in high-security, safety-sensitive environments is a plus.
• Reliability and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to night-shift schedules.

Benefits:

  • ECS Electrical Improver: £22. per hour on days, 8.43 per hour on nights
  • Gold Card Electrician: 4.27 per hour on days, 1.22 per hour on nights
  • Gold Card Approved Electrician: 6.04 per hour on days, 3.57 per hour on Nights
• Paid Holiday Allowance and contract stability with a one-week notice period.

Winter Resilience Operative – Heathrow Airport

Do you want to be a part of Rapid Response Team? If you do, you’ll be there when things get interesting!

You'll be responsible to keep the airports open when the Snow hits like the Beast from the East! We may also be able to utilise you on other areas of the Airport if you are successful.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS ADHOC WORK AND SHIFTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WHEN THERE IS A THREAT OF SNOW OR CONFIRMED SNOW EVENT – TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. IT IS NOT FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT AND WILL SUIT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE SELF-EMPLOYED AND WANT THE EXTRA INCOME.

Responsibilities:

As a Winter Resilience Operative, your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the clearance of snow from Aircraft Stands & Passenger Walkways
• Using various equipment on the aircraft stand to include Shovels, brushes, and manual gritters

Person Specification:

• Must be hardworking & reliable with an excellent work ethic
• Be flexible with working hours (able to work: days, nights & weekends)
• Be able to attend shifts at very short notice (minimum 4-hours)
• Live within a 45-minute commute of Heathrow Airport

Requirements:

Due to the location of work being at the airport, we need the following information from you:

• Must possess Valid Photo ID (One of the following)– UK Passport, EU Passport, EU ID Card, Non-UK Passport & Visa, Biometric Residence Permit, Full UK Birth Certificate & Driving Licence
• Must be able to provide references for us to call and obtain a verbal reference from previous employer’s
• You will be required to complete a Security Exam and therefore need to display you understand Health & Safety practices; therefore, you will need to demonstrate you have a good understanding and communicate clearly in both written and verbal English
• There is an element of manual handling of materials including pushing and pulling of equipment. You will need to be physically fit and able to carry out this role; the Airport is a large environment, and you will often be required to walk long distances between workstations.

Working Hours:

• This is ad-hoc emergency work. Your hours will vary, and you must be flexible enough to work; days, nights, weekdays and weekends. Shifts are typically 12 hours.
