Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
As our HVAC Lead Engineer, you'll ensure the reliability, compliance and performance of mechanical systems across a mission-critical data centre. You'll lead maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, AHUs, FCUs), manage vendor works, and ensure 100% uptime through a robust change management approach. You'll also be the first responder for mechanical incidents, supporting root cause analysis and operational improvement.

• F-Gas Cat 1 certification (City & Guilds)
• 4+ years' post-qualification experience in HVAC/mechanical systems
• Knowledge of data centre HVAC plant, BMS/PPM/CAFM systems and PtW processes
• Ability to lead both proactive and reactive maintenance to high standards
• Calm, methodical approach and strong problem-solving skills
• Legionella Awareness and understanding of safe mechanical practices
• Experience in client-facing technical environments
Your skills and attitude:
Experience of maintaining Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services, (DHW skids), Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, CIP systems, Low/Medium voltage Electrical Systems, UPS, Generators and other associated systems
Significant knowledge of and experience of working to international HSE standards
Previous experience managing a small team
Experience of operating in a customer facing role and dealing with technical problems in challenging situations
