• Our client developing an in - house service and maintenance HVAC/Air conditioning team and are looking for an air conditioning engineer / HVAC engineer to join their expanding team of experienced engineers.
• Working on a mobile basis you would be responsible for carrying out service and preventative planned maintenance according to schedules on a wide range of air conditioning appliances for retail and hospitality customers, you would work both alone and with another engineer when required.
• As an Air conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer you would carry out maintenance on systems such as VRV's, VRF's, Splits etc.
• Covering in and around the M25 area you would be responsible for carrying out air conditioning service and maintenance on contracts for high profile clients household names.

Air Conditioning Engineer - Didcot - 47k - Static site (brand new Pharma)

Based at a brand new high technology pharma site in Harwell, Oxfordshire and with at least 5 years of post qualification experience, you will carry out the reactive and planned maintenance of Air Conditioning systems. Previous experience of working in a critical / pharma environment would be preferred, as would any knowledge of CO2 or Hydrocarbon training.

Hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and you must have minimum of C&G level 2 in Air conditioning and Refrigeration and C&G 2079 FGAS category 1.

My client is a large fm company currently looking for a hvac engineer in Ipswich to carry out the following duties:

• Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.
• Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
• Ensure required switching schedules, SOPs and EOPs are created and utilised in line with Company policies and SSOW
• Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised and comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes
• Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required
• Ensure a professional image is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is always delivered and promoted
• Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning

Our client is a well-established HVAC contractor specialising in the installation, service, and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their service and maintenance team.

The Role
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, multi-splits, VRV/VRF, and ventilation units. Work will be carried out at client sites such as offices, retail spaces, schools, hospitality venues, and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose and rectify faults quickly and efficiently
• Carry out PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) visits to agreed schedules
• Work on a range of systems, including VRV/VRF, split, and multi-split systems
• Ensure all work meets current health & safety and F-Gas regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Complete job sheets, reports, and paperwork accurately and on time
• Participate in an on-call rota as required (with additional pay)

Requirments

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• F-Gas 2079 qualification (essential)
• Proven experience working on a variety of AC systems (VRV/VRF, splits, multi-splits)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to work independently and manage own workload
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the contract service delivery plan for commercial HVAC equipment
• Carry out A/C works including minor projects and refurbishments
• Fault-find, investigate, troubleshoot and rectify defects in all A/C units and systems, and associated plant/components
• Work on systems including: Single & multi-splits, VAVs, VRVs, VRFs
• Carry out tasks such as: Replacing compressors and condensers, regassing, brazing, soldering, etc.
• Liaise with subcontractors where necessary
• Ensure all statutory documentation is completed and kept up to date

Working in buildings like supermarkets, offices, schools, hospitals and food processing plants etc. You will need the ability to follow technical instructions and an understanding of safe working practices.

This is a permanent position paying 40k - 45k per annum depending on experience. Perks include Van & Fuel Card. Private use of van is allowed. Plenty of overtime and weekend work available. They also have a bonus scheme. Pension. 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Training and Development opportunities.
