Are you a Service Desk Engineer looking to take on a new challenge?
Would you like to work with a growing MSP that have customers across Scotland?
You will be predominantly home based but will be expected to be on client site circa 20% of the time for break fix & scheduled project work. With customers across the central belt and up to Aberdeen, this will suit someone who is based in and around the Central Belt.
You will have an opportunity to work a wide range of technology with customers from variety of industries solving 1st and 2nd line incidents, requests and problems remotely.
You should be confident and skilled across the following areas:
Microsoft 365 Suite:
- Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Azure AD
Networking Fundamentals:
- VPN configuration and troubleshooting
- DNS, DHCP
- Basic firewall management
Security & Endpoint Protection:
- Antivirus troubleshooting and deployment
RMM Platforms:
- Experience with Datto, ConnectWise Automate, N-Able, or similar tools
General Troubleshooting:
- Across Windows OS, desktop/laptop hardware, printers, and common cloud applications
Due to their diverse client portfolio, you’ll gain hands-on experience with a range of bespoke and industry-specific technologies. Every day brings something new! This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety and continuous learning.
As this role requires travel, you will need a clean, full driving license as well as access to your own vehicle (you will be reimbursed for your travel expenses).
Salary wise, this is paying between £27,500 - £30,000 plus bonus and benefits.

About the Role : We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our exciting team. This role is ideal for someone with previous computer or EPoS experience and technical competence in general hardware and operating systems. This varied role involves fulfilling new orders, managing stock, repairing machines, performing on-site warranties, and supporting customers both over the phone and occasionally face-to-face through full EPoS installations.
Responsibilities :
- Fault-finding on EPoS equipment and peripherals
- First-line technical support (phone, email, online)
- Testing equipment and completing configurations/builds
- Diagnosing and resolving faults remotely
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems and installations
- Keeping up-to-date with latest technologies
- (Desirable) Experience with Sage 200
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Stock management and distribution within the warehouse
- Occasional on-site repairs for customers
- Good telephone manner and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
- Capable of managing a small team and reporting to director
- Able to implement training for staff and customers on-site
Qualifications :
- Ability to be proactive, prioritise, and problem-solve independently and within a team

Join a leading Financial Services Client as a Trade Support Analyst in a role designed to develop recent graduates into skilled technology professionals. This position offers comprehensive training and exposure to cutting-edge trading systems and market data platforms.
This role consists of providing level 2 technical support for the client's applications to both internal departments and external customers. The range of applications covers Middle and Back office as well as Market Data. Specifically, to provide technical support in a project-based structure to ensure the successful delivery of application solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide production support and maintenance for a full range of Pre and Post Trade applications including project-related activities.
- Perform monitoring, tuning and optimisation of performance.
- Create and update all documents related to applications and their supporting systems.
- Support production and pre-production environments.
- Maintain disaster recovery solutions across different domains.
- Recommend new or changed standards to ensure improved efficiency, effectiveness, and robustness for all environments.
- Respond quickly to production issues taking responsibility for seeing those issues through to resolution, recording all actions taken and communicating the impact of the actions to the appropriate levels of management.
- Provide 24x7x365 support and incident response.
- Flexibility to work in shifts (as per roster) and during weekends and extended hours when needed.

- Computer Science degree (minimum 2:1) from a Russell Group university

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
