Job Description

This role sits within the Business Selection, Conflicts, and Reputation Risk ("BSCR") team. The BSCR team drives superior alignment decisions by holistically vetting alternative opportunities, client relationships and revenue streams, while protecting Citi by mitigating transactional conflicts and reputation risks. The SVP will support the Head of BSCR in managing reputation risk and handling reputation risk referrals across Banking & International.
The role will combine expertise in reputation risk management with a strong understanding of Banking products to help manage reputation risk across Citi. As part of a small, focused team, the individual will work closely with deal and relationship teams and first- and second-line control functions to support consistent, well-informed decision-making in line with Citi's reputation risk framework.
The role will suit a proactive and commercially aware individual with prior experience in risk management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and engaging with senior stakeholders across Citi.
The role will particularly appeal to an individual who (i) has a genuine interest in current affairs, geopolitics, and emerging risks, (ii) values senior stakeholder engagement and has strong interpersonal and communication skills, (iii) is proactive, efficient and solutions-orientated, with a strong interest in problem solving, and (iv) thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment and is collaborative and a team player.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Supporting the review and assessment of reputation risk referrals across Banking & International.
+ Coordinating with business teams and control partners to ensure consistent application of the bank's reputation risk framework and transparent decision-making.
+ Preparing materials for reputation risk review forums and meetings and assisting with the documentation of meeting notes and minutes.
+ Helping to develop and enhance reputation risk processes and procedures, and training to support effective reputation risk awareness and management.
+ Contributing to reporting, metrics, and analysis on reputation risk trends and emerging issues.
+ Assisting with regulatory or audit responses as they relate to reputation risk.
+ Provide broader support to the BSCR team.
**Qualifications:**
+ Experience at a financial institution, in either banking or Risk management.
+ Expertise in Risk management and familiarity with Banking products and services.
+ Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
+ Ability to help drive change to business practices by working effectively across multiple businesses and clusters.
+ Self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
+ Ability to analyze a process and an interest in helping find ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency.
+ A JD candidate must have a law degree from a top-tier accredited law school, be admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, have at least 1-2 years of comprehensive experience specializing in general corporate law, with emphasis on M&A transactional work in a corporate or law firm environment.
+ A non-JD candidate should have at least 5 years" experience at a financial institution, in either banking or Risk management, with significant exposure to investment banking products
