Well established automotive engineering firm requires an experienced Automotive Electronics Repair Engineer. You will be responsible for the remanufacture and testing of a wide range of automotive electrical and electronic components. This role involves fault finding, component-level repair, and ensuring all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Proven experience in electronic fault finding to component level.
- Knowledge of PCB rework methods (soldering, reflow, and repair techniques).
- Ability to read and interpret electronic circuits and schematic drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with QHSE legislation and best practices.
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications (particularly Excel), or willingness to develop proficiency.
Personal Attributes
- Good communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Willingness to follow instructions, adhere to procedures, and learn new skills.

Qualifications:
