Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on Mercedes Benz and other prestige vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose issues using advanced diagnostic tools and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Complete service and repair documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workshop and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Educate customers on vehicle health and required maintenance.

Qualifications:

• NQF Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical understanding of automotive systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to undergo additional training for electric vehicle technologies.

• Perform complex diagnostic procedures on vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections and identify faults and potential issues across various vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.).
• Carry out repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards and specifications.
• Provide expert advice to customers regarding vehicle condition, required repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tyre rotations.
• Ensure all repairs and services are completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified Automotive Technician.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency with modern diagnostic equipment and electronic vehicle systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical automotive systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid UK driving license.
• MOT testing qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience in specialist areas (e.g., hybrids, EVs, performance tuning) is a plus.

• Proficiency with modern diagnostic equipment and tools.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• Excellent understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
