We are actively looking for multiple Android Engineers to join a company who is on a mission to become the ultimate one-stop shop for sports fans—from betting and watching to discussing the biggest matches, all in one place. To support this vision, they are launching a brand-new, dedicated live sports streaming platform — and we need expert Android Engineers to help build it from the ground up.

This is not a maintenance role — it’s a greenfield build, and we’re moving fast. Their goal is to launch within 6 months, so we need high-performing engineers who can move quickly, own their space, and deliver quality under pressure. You’ll collaborate directly with Product Managers, Designers, and the Technical Director to create a scalable, high-performance streaming platform that supports rapid global expansion.

As the Android Engineer you will:

  • Build features across the full Android stack – networking, persistence, UI, and business logic.
  • Architect scalable, efficient, and reusable mobile solutions for live video streaming.
  • Optimize performance, UI, and infrastructure for a smooth and responsive user experience.
  • Work closely with backend and design teams to deliver fully integrated end-to-end features.

About the Role

We are seeking a Java Backend Developer for the FinTech business unit of a leading global digital travel platform.
If you are a Java Backend Developer with 5 to 12 years of experience then this opportunity is for you.

This role involves building innovative regulatory technology solutions to ensure compliance and manage risks. The engineer will work on a mission-critical platform that uses state-of-the-art technology for sanctions screening and other regulatory processes. The position requires developing highly scalable distributed systems and micro-services that support business objectives and enhance the experience for partners and internal stakeholders

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices that power our compliance platforms.
  • Develop tools and systems for sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
  • Optimize backend processes for performance, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Enhance tooling, analytics, and reporting used by internal compliance stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand regulatory processes and deliver technical solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to hiring efforts and mentoring junior engineers.

What We're Looking For

  • 5- 12 years of experience (not more than 12 years) in software development with at least 2 server-side languages - Java being must have.
  • Experience working in Kubernetes environment.
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture and scalable, distributed systems.
  • Proficient in data technologies like MySQL .
  • Experience with batch processing , data pipelines , and data integrity practices.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., RDS, Step Functions, EC2, Kinesis) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of unit , integration , and E2E testing paradigms.
  • Prior experience in FinTech, Financial sector, Banking or Payment system.
  • Awareness of security best practices (authentication, authorization).
  • Experience with globally distributed teams is a plus.
