Sous Chef, SO42 Hampshire, 5/7 days £34k
Fantastic opportunity for a creative and passionate Sous Chef to support the running of this prestigious site based in SO42, Hampshire.
As the Sous Chef, you will be
- supporting the Head Chef with the running of the kitchen and all food produced
- creative and be able to produce exceptional menus using fresh seasonal ingredients
- leading, managing and training the team as well as working as a team player
- managing stock, wastage, budget and food consistency
Working hours are 40hr per week, 5/7 days with some weekends
Please note, due to location applicants must have their own transport as public transport is limited
Our ideal candidate would be
- an enthusiastic Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie with a proven work history
- genuinely passionate about exceptional food and ingredients
- experienced in high volume catering as well as cooking for functions and events
- able to lead, manage and motivate a team and work as a team player
