The role:
BSA Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong customer service mindset and a desire to build a career in a professional environment. Based predominately in the legal team this role supports the whole group.
While prior experience in UK immigration law is not required, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a 'can-do' attitude who is eager to learn and contribute to a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a vital part of the team, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and client support. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Client and Administrative Support:
· Serving as the primary point of contact for BSA Group Legal, managing incoming phone calls and email inquiries with professionalism and a client-focused approach.
· Under the supervision of a solicitor, drafting, reviewing, and preparing essential legal and immigration documentation, including online visa application forms, Certificates of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), and official correspondence.
· Meticulously collating and reviewing supporting client documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Case Management & Progression:
· Actively monitoring and progressing client cases, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
· Recording time and maintaining detailed case logs to track progress and report on task completion.
· Staying up-to-date with Home Office updates and legislative changes affecting visa application procedures, processing times, and legal requirements.
Team and Executive Assistance:
· Providing a wide range of administrative support across the BSA Group and specifically to the Legal team, including assisting with the coordination and delivery of events and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions.
· Working closely with the Immigration team and Executive Director (Legal), assisting with both legal inquiries and broader BSA Group legal matters.
· Supporting the wider BSA Group with the delivery of services as required, including the CEO and DCEO/COO as needed.

· Support BSAG in all its work internally and externally as a member of staff.
· Support BSAG in service and budget delivery.
