 Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer in the Credit Core team, you will innovate and maintain our Core Product and ABR/S baseline in the area of Credit. You'll collaborate closely with our Tech Lead, Business Analysts and other Software Engineers from the team. Furthermore you'll exchange with stakeholders outside the team including customers and software partners.

As a Senior Software Engineer in Credit Core you'll take over component-ownership for Core components as well as ABR/S software-components.
 

  • To become an expert and take ownership within one of the credit areas
  • To implement new business functionality on the appropriate software layer and add automated tests
  • Work with your colleagues to maintain the functionality within the team’s area of expertise
  • To write solution designs for new developments and have them reviewed with our technical leads and architects
  • To participate in client workshops and support our business analysts in requirements analysis
  • To collaborate with colleagues both within and outside the team
 Qualifications
  • University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent
  • Proven track record working in a software development team using PL/SQL
  • Professional knowledge of PL/SQL and relational database systems
  • It would be a bonus if you have knowledge related to Credit 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Excellent client-orientation and strong communication skills in English
  • Experience of agile methodologies

  • Intergrate software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, utilizing modern software engineering practices and tools.

  • Experience with Linux and developing real-time software in C/C++ or Python is essential.
  • Experience of robotics, machine control systems and automation is desirable.
  • A basic understanding of electronics and the ability to read electrical schematics is essential.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of current software engineering practices for RAS.
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2, machine learning and OpenCV is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of CODESYS or similar PLC software is beneficial.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplined engineering team.
