On behalf of our long-standing client based in Lancashire, we are recruiting for a full-time, on-site Systems Administrator. In this role, you will manage and support the organisation’s IT systems, infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and optimal performance.
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for:
- Managing and maintaining server infrastructure (virtual and physical). li>Administering and supporting VMware platforms.
- Overseeing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including domain setups and security.
- Configuring and managing firewalls, and supporting networks (VLANs, switches).
- Producing accurate documentation and reports.
- Assisting with IT projects, supplier liaison, and technology upgrades.
The Systems Administrator will have the following:
- Proven experience in server infrastructure administration.
- Strong VMware skills.
- Microsoft 365 and Azure administration expertise.
- Good understanding of firewalls and networking fundamentals.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
