• Operating a loading shovel to pick up crushed materials and transport them to the designated stockpile.
• Ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials in compliance with site regulations and safety standards.
• Conducting routine checks and maintenance of the loading shovel to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborating with site personnel to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Possession of a valid CPCS or NPORS card.
  • If holding an NPORS card, it must include CSCS Accreditation and Loading Shovel Operator certification.
• Proven experience operating a loading shovel in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a construction or industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

• Starting with a safety briefing and equipment inspection.
• Operating the loading shovel to move crushed materials efficiently and safely.
• Coordinating with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Performing routine maintenance checks on the equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working condition.
• Wrapping up the day by ensuring the work area and equipment are clean and secure.

Are you .

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline, with 5–8 years of leadership experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Prior experience in the heavy equipment industry, particularly within parts or service operations, is highly desirable.

Proven track record in leading teams and managing service-oriented departments effectively.

Able to communicate in English

Spanish and/or French are a plus
