• Extensive experience in a similar role
• CIPD Qualified
• Sound experience of delivering a quality, proactive and customer-focussed HR advisory and consultancy service
• Local Authority experience is essential

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a team of RBIs and support staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, service efficiency, and high standards of delivery.

• Lead and manage the Building Control function, including Registered Building Inspectors and support teams.

The candidate will be required to be part of a weekly duty rota on a rotation basis, on these weeks the candidate will be required to be office based for all 5 days of the week. On the other three weeks flexible work / home arrangements are in place, with an expectation that the candidate will be in the office 3 days a week, and able to work from home the other 2 (but must be available if required to visit).
