To ensure that we incorporate these business process changes in our quality management system documentation and move to an integrated QMS to cover both ISO 9001 and 14001, the Quality Assurance team are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor. The post holder will be part of the ERP project team with a remit to produce QMS documentation and design audit testing regimes to ensure the accreditation under ISO for the group is maintained through the change process. The role will report to the Group CFO.

Own monthly management accounts and commercial MI for our Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) branches. You’ll produce accurate, timely accounts with job-by-job analysis, partner closely with operations and commercial teams, and drive insight on profitability, working capital and controls. You’ll also support budgeting/forecasting and help strengthen our quality of data through the ERP transition.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly management accounts to deadline, including job-level analysis and workstream/sector/period views for R&M contracts.
- Build commercial MI that explains revenue, margin and accruals; present clear, action-oriented commentary to Branch Managers, Commercial teams and the Ops Director.
- Analyse R&M data to highlight loss-making jobs, PPP/high-cost patterns, servicing programme costs and margins by region/subcontractor/work type; recommend corrective actions.
- Lead monthly commercial reviews with the branch and senior stakeholders; track actions to closure.
- Review Balance Sheet codes; perform monthly reconciliations as directed by the Group Financial Controller.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven month-end ownership with job-by-job analysis and clear commentary.
- Strong Excel (lookups/XLOOKUP, pivots; robust worksheet design); confident with large data sets.
- Track record of business partnering with operational/commercial teams and presenting MI to drive decisions.
- Solid grasp of working capital mechanics and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Highly organised self-starter who meets deadlines across multiple workstreams; strong written and verbal communication.
