Our client is seeking a results-driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead new market penetration and revenue growth for their innovative SaaS solutions. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to operate from anywhere within the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and a deep understanding of the software-as-a-service landscape. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing high-value deals. This role requires exceptional prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Identify and qualify new leads through market research, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to prospective clients' needs.
  • Negotiate complex contract terms and close deals to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies.
  • Provide market feedback to product development teams to inform future enhancements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Represent the company at virtual industry events and conferences.
  • Manage sales forecasts and report on progress to senior leadership.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass assigned sales quotas.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong emphasis on SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and building new revenue streams.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of the SaaS business model and its value proposition.
  • Strong market analysis and strategic planning abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients remotely.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events if required.
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer value.
