Within our group our HR team are the key support function for Watergate Bay Hotel and SeaSpace Aparthotel, both in Cornwall and we also have two Another Place Hotels; The Lake, in Ullswater and The Machrie on the Isle of Islay, 2 hours by ferry to mainland Scotland.
Our Talent Acquisition Partner role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing and engaging Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our HR Team.
You'll be responsible for day-to-day recruitment for all four of the hotels in our group. From creating compelling recruitment campaigns, writing engaging job adverts and telling the stories of our hotels and our people, this role couldn't be any more varied
It's a fast paced and ever-changing environment in hospitality so we're looking for someone adaptable, process driven and with the ability to think creatively to hire the best talent for our teams.
You'll also champion best practice to ensure cohesion across all hotels and you'll be passionate about succession planning, talent pools, early careers and connecting with communities in the locality of the hotels.
For this role you base will be our head office, 'The Hangar' situated St Mawgan, Newquay and occasional travel to the hotels within the group and to industry events will be required.
Please note this role is part time (3 days per week) and the salary is £18,000 per annum (£30,000 FTE)
As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be:
- Proactively talent sourcing through networking and direct outreach.
- Championing the employer brand at relevant industry and community events.
- Creating and managing recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Monitoring and evaluating campaigns to ensure the best results.
- Reporting on progress and successes.
- Developing and maintaining a Talent pool.
- Creating engaging job adverts.
- Using key research to keep up to date with recruitment trends and tools.
- Working on regular projects outside of business as usual to support the talent acquisition strategy.
- Working closely with the HR team and collaborating with hotel administration managers based on site at our hotels.
The skills you'll be sharing with us:
- Proven experience in recruitment.
- Experience working with LinkedIn for headhunting, talent pipelines and storytelling.
- Experience of business partnering and working with hiring managers and key company stakeholders.
- A good knowledge of SEO best practice.
- Knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to help create compelling digital content and narratives.
- Analytical skills to track and analyse campaign results.
- Project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to think creatively and to make changes where necessary to ensure the success of recruitment campaigns.
- Clean driving licence.
It would also be great if you have:
- Experience of business social media channels, especially Instagram and Facebook.
- Knowledge of recruitment platforms such as Indeed and Glassdoor
