We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance professional with a clean driving licence to help keep our nurseries safe, well-presented, and in excellent working order.

What You'll Do
You’ll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day repairs, minor improvements, and planned maintenance across all Treehouse sites. Your duties will include:

  • Fixing and replacing doors, locks, intercoms, and fittings
  • li>Minor plumbing and electrical repairs (e.g., leaks, lighting, boiler checks)
  • General DIY including painting, assembling furniture, and maintaining resources
  • Garden and outdoor maintenance including fences, play structures, and seasonal tasks
  • Supporting site safety and carrying out hazard checks, fire warden recommendations, and reporting
  • Travelling between sites to respond to urgent maintenance requests

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

    < i>Proven experience in maintenance, caretaking, or similar roles
  • Good all-round handyperson skills (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrics)
  • Clean driving licence (D1 category desirable)
  • Understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, and safeguarding expectations
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise urgent tasks
  • Strong communication and basic IT skills for logging tasks

Desirable:

  • Experience working in schools or nursery settings
  • Awareness of EYFS environments
  • Health & Safety or Facilities Management training (e.g., IOSH)
  • First Aid or Fire Marshal certification
