• Preparing monthly management accounts with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.

Purpose of the role
Provide comprehensive management accounting support, including preparing monthly accounts, monitoring financial performance, producing key reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee smooth month-end close processes.

• Prepare monthly financial results and detailed cost analysis against budgets and prior periods.

• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.

• Assist with year-end audits and statutory reporting.

• Produce and submit VAT and other compliance returns.

• Maintain cash flow reports and monitor currency positions.

• Support debt management and reconciliations.

• Manage intercompany reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.

Skills & experience

• ACCA / CIMA qualified

• Part-qualified CA, ACA, ACCA, or QBE with strong relevant experience
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and the ability to apply it in practice
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools or ERP systems desirable
• Experience in a listed or complex multi-entity environment advantageous
• Organised, analytical, and comfortable managing competing priorities

Job duties:

- Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents for multiple companies including consolidation of operating companies and management/owning companies into a single reporting structure
