**Apache Performance Project Manager - UK AH-64E Apache Helicopter Portfolio**
**Introduction:** Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is seeking an experienced L4 Project Manager for the UK AH-64E Apache Helicopter Portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a background in programme management, contract performance monitoring and aircraft engineering within the Defence industry.
**About the Role:** This position reports directly to the LTTTSS Programme Manager and is also responsible for liaison with the MoD customer community on site in Wattisham Flying Station as Site Lead, assessing the effectiveness of the contracted statement of work in execution using performance indicators supported by data analysis and problem solving to ensure Customer Satisfaction is accurately gauged and met. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Project and Programme Management industry best practice and possess experience in the Military maintenance environment, either directly or indirectly. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in managing risks, issues, and opportunities. They must also possess a solid understanding of contracts, change management processes and effective schedule management. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, is essential.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Act as Boeing's Site Lead in Wattisham Flying Station as the integrator of Boeing activity within this MoD site; attend Station / site meetings as Boeing's primary representative.
+ Act as focal point for Wattisham Flying Station based Continuous Improvement activities ensuring adherence to appropriate delivery schedules in support of the LTTSS Programme Manager.
+ Oversee multiple stakeholders, projects, and customers simultaneously; Understand and interpret customer needs within the Apache Main Operating Base and translate them into actionable change measures in support of the LTTSS Programme Manager.
+ Develop, integrate and use Information System tools to track Performance Metrics (Eg KPIs and MIs) to measure performance against LTTSS contracted deliverables to inform Project Reviews.
+ Extract Data as required from available IT systems (Eg STARS, GOLDesp, GOLDmro, MJDI, Power BI), liaise and coordinate Data Analytics development of BDUK dashboards.
+ Improve Apache AH-64E availability and serviceability/outputs through better coordination, influence and information.
+ Coordinate the BDUK representation at MoD led Platform Availability Working Group and sub-tier meetings.
+ Own, track and report GFX shortfalls across the programme on behalf of the LTTSS Prog Mgr.
+ Lead cross-functional teams by clearly defining Roles, Accountabilities, and Authorities (RAAs) to maintain accountability.
+ Generate assumptions, exclusions, and dependencies by leveraging cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Negotiate with customers on multiple project parameters, including deliverable definitions and performance objectives (e.g., cost, schedule, quality).
+ Develop robust proposal risk positions, including costed risks and Cost Risk Adjustment (CRA).
+ Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with project and functional organisations, including customer counterparts.
+ Diffuse conflicts or difficult situations to ensure alignment with project objectives.
+ Assist the LTTSS Program Manager in Control Account Management and generating a business case for necessary Changes within the Apache Change Management process
+ Incorporate Programme Management Best Practices (PMBP) into daily operations.

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience:**
+ Experience in stakeholder management.

+ Commercial awareness and ability to work within and comply with Boeing's commercial processes.
+ Sound knowledge of the project lifecycle, from requirements definition and proposal preparation to negotiation and project implementation through to completion.
+ Demonstrable experience working with UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) platforms.
+ A valid driving licence is required.
**Travel:**
+ Regional travel will be required to visit AH operational sites.
+ International travel may be required.
