Operations
- Work with Manager to ensure the store is staffed efficiently reflecting the trade patterns of the store and taking into account productivity and cost.

- Ensure store teams have adequate training on all retail operations and is up to date, communicating any changes made from HO.

As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain our high standards day after day. From motivating your team to taking responsibility for the shop floor, you’ll keep our store running like clockwork, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. In return, we’ll give you a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hou for work during bank holidays and .50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.

What you'll do
- Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
- Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
- Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
- Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
- Give our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
What you'll need
- Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast-paced environment
- The ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
- Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to keep calm in any situation
- Passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team
- A proactive and encouraging approach to help your colleagues develop themselves and store operations
