Key Responsibilities:
As the Quality Control Supervisor , you will:
- Oversee the quality control processes for powder blending operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead a team of skilled technicians and scientists to maintain high quality and safety standards.
- Test raw materials for compliance against agreed specifications and create powder blends to ensure accurate replication and practical methods for testing.
- Collaborate with R&D on new product development, providing insights and support during trials.
- Develop and implement testing protocols, ensuring accurate and timely results whilst maintaining lab equipment is up to date.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes and documentation to uphold quality assurance.
- Provide training to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a lab or QC environment, preferably in powder blending, dairy or related manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with powder or dry blending, able to understand and analyse techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in New Product Development is highly desirable.
- A degree in a relevant scientific field (Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, etc.) is preferred.
