Summary

Muzulu seeks talented and dynamic professionals to join our growing Consulting organization. You will be able to demonstrate effective consulting experience in Manufacturing processes delivered within an ERP solution.

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual that has a natural ability to provide effective consultancy to project teams on small through to large sized projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver consultancy in Manufacturing Execution and Planning during an implementation of IFS Applications based ERP solution
  • Understand and influence customer’s process requirements to best practise
  • Write and deliver training to Customers
  • Liaise with the Solution Architect and PM on the details and progress of the solution
  • Write Specifications for Customisations and/or Modifications
  • Perform Solution and Unit Testing of the Manufacturing solution
  • Develop solutions that meet demanding customer requirements
  • Document processes using a variety of tools including process mapping software
  • Keep up to date on the latest functionality and trends in the Manufacturing arena

Skills & Knowledge

  • IFS Applications (Any version, preferably Apps9 or Apps10) or equivalent ERP package
    • Use of MRP and Other planning tools
    • Costing Methodologies
    • Shop Order Execution
  • Proficiency in using MS Office suite of products:
    • MS Word (use of Styles for consistency, etc.)
    • MS Excel
    • MS PowerPoint (have eye for good slide design)
    • MS Project (be able to read a project plan.)
    • SharePoint
    • Visio
  • Other Applications that are of benefit
    • 2C8 Business Modelling
    • ClickLearn Training Application
    • Self motivated, can progress work independently but work well within a team
    • Strong communication and presentation skills to deliver training and workshops
    • Strong problem solving and analysis skills for creative solution design.
    • Can demonstrate knowledge of industry best practices in using ERP software within the Manufacturing scope.

    Education And Experience

    • Experience with IFS Applications implementations or similar ERP Software implementations
    • Over 2 years of ERP Consulting
    • Experience working with management and demanding customers
    • Experience working in the following industries (life sciences industries, Engineering, Manufacturing)
    • Is energetic, determined, positive, goal focused and consistent – even under pressure
    • Builds trust and demonstrates integrity with Customer
    • Can work closely and communicate effectively within the Muzulu team.

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar continuous improvement role.
    • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and VSM.
    • Demonstrated success in implementing lean projects and achieving measurable results.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with remote teams.
    • Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
    • Experience in manufacturing process design and optimisation.
