**Key Competencies and Skills:**
**Process Optimisation :** Identify areas for process improvement within the RF product manufacturing cycle which includes mechanical assembly, various joining techniques of multiple materials, electrical and RF testing. Analyse production workflows, implement efficiency enhancements, and reduce waste to increase overall productivity.
**Quality Assurance:** Take ownership of maintaining and improving quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor production outputs, perform root cause analyses for defects, and implement corrective actions to ensure products meet or exceed established quality benchmarks.
**Manufacturing Support & Problem Solving :** Provide technical support to the manufacturing team, ensuring smooth production runs. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to root cause promptly to minimize product losses.
**Documentation Skills:** Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and quality control protocols. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are available for reference.
**Continuous Improvement:** Drive a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking out opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase product reliability

**Job Description**
The RF Power Production Engineering team is responsible for supporting operational performance and major product development projects. This role is to support our HV Solid State Modulator product and includes everything from design for continuous improvement through to engineering build, production and customer support. The team provides comprehensive product lifecycle support, including prototype design and build, process development and integration, build documentation, and full production build through to post-sales and field support for both new and existing product portfolios
**Main Responsibilities:**
+ **Production Support:** Provide technical input throughout the production process. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply teams to address technical issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain standard operating procedures address product quality and supply chain issues.
+ **Fault Finding:** Conduct component-level fault finding and structured analysis to identify and resolve long-term production and performance issues. Document and report faults with customer-owned products, implementing improvements to resolve documented issues.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Challenge conventional manufacturing methods to ensure continuous improvements, particularly regarding manufacturing cost and ease of manufacture. Develop and analyse manufacturing processes. Create balanced production lines and update configuration control documents.
+ **New Product Introductions:** Ensure designs meet DFM and DFA criteria. Manage required activities through the relevant phase deliverable gate of the NPI process, working with the BU Engineering and Project teams. Control the introduction of new parts and tools into the manufacturing environment.
+ **Product Lifecycle Management:** Understand the lifecycle of all component types, their sources, and lead times. Plan and control the execution of manufacturing changes from concept to production acceptance for process improvements and trials.
+ **Safety:** Support production with risk and COSHH assessments, acting as a subject matter expert for the product, components, assembly, and test processes. Support a rigorous safety culture.
**Essential Experience/Competencies:**
+ Experience in an engineering function supporting electromechanical manufacturing.
+ Minimum of 3 years' industry experience.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work with all business levels.
+ Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing philosophies (DFM/DFA).
+ Understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly, manufacturing, and test.
+ Ability to produce concise reports and effective presentations.
+ High level of self-motivation and creativity.
+ Independent thinker, able to work effectively in a multi-disciplined team to tight deadlines.
**Desirable Experience/Competencies:**

Amazon is seeking Snr Site Process Engineers to work in the EU Process Engineering (EU PE) team. The Site Process Engineer is an onsite position.
The EU PE team is a group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfilment Network.
This team is essential to establish best in class process performance across all different direct and indirect processes, accelerate implementation of technological advancements and to strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for the operational leaders across the FC network. EU PE ensures the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to successfully deliver expected gains for technology advances and network wide process improvements.
The team drives process control and shifting mean performance with the outcome of minimizing variation between shifts, building and region, to deliver strong performance. The team works closely with Process System Engineering (PSE), ACES PM, Central Ops, launch teams, operations engineering and reliability and maintenance (RME) teams to improve the input metrics for each of the process paths by prioritizing and channelling resources.
The Site Process Engineer works alongside with the FC Senior Leadership Team, while keeping high collaboration with EU PE functions. This role is responsible to deploy initiatives, build networking and relationship in the FC and drive compliance for the initiatives within an assigned timeline. The Site Process Engineer initiates and implements EU wide improvement activities. This role requires the ability to demonstrate ownership for initiatives, understand the initiatives in details, and influence to deliver meaningful results translating to tangible productivity and efficiency gains in the FC.
Key job responsibilities
- Work on Back to Basics (B2B) initiatives identifying the top opportunities in the FC in comparison with the other EU FCs. Looking for the input metrics with the biggest gap to OP2 and implement the improvement action plan in close collaboration with the local Operations Management team following the standard improvement templates.
a. Oversee the FC improvement program and set focus on most important areas, based on the alignment with the FC Senior Leadership team.
b. Dive deep into the process performance by using available standard reportings or create own data analysis, call out in in the daily dive deep meetings and collect feedback from the local team to be able to convert this information into a tangible improvement plan, that matters to the FC.
c. Review the open Action Plans on weekly basis, engaging the FC stakeholders to complete the suggested actions and reach the desired targets.
d. Collaborate with the central PE functions and other Site PEs from the same region to clarify any doubt process related and leveraging on their level of expertise. Benchmarking initiatives are highly recommended to further reduce variation across the FCs.
- Work on Continuous Improvement with the FC
a. Drive network best practice implementation, leveraging local initiative led with local Ops and share them to EU PE for the review. Once approved the best practice will be officially added to all EU Best Practice repository. This process is fundamental to help the top 50% FCs to reach Best In Class through the B2B process.
b. Strengthen the framework used to capture and scale FC innovation. New ideas and projects from the FC will flow through a standard process and presented to ACES process SMEs for the review.
c. Ensure big projects / ideas from the FC (10M$+ WW saving) are captured in the Operating Plan Q1 (OP1) Project Intake every year.
- Own the deployment of all the EU network initiatives assigned to the FC, making sure that they are executed with the right timeline, reaching compliance. Support the FC to commit on test and pilot for the EU Projects in order to avoid delays and make sure that projects are then deployed and reviewed in all the EU FCs.
- Partnership with the FC Ops:
a. Join the daily Gemba on the floor with FC Leadership in order to stay aligned with FC top issues and Associate feedback.
b. Organize the weekly LSC Meeting with the FC Leadership Team updating the Team on EU Back To Basics (B2B), EU Projects rolled out in the FC, FC Best practices shared at EU level and FC local initiatives eligible for test or pilot.
c. Support the Site Leader and the FC Senior Management Team creating a strong relationship with them, which allows the Site PE to gain their trust and buy-in for all the initiatives. Beside standard task, SPE can support Site Leader and Senior Ops on process related ad hoc tasks from the FC accounting for less than 10% of the working time.
- Be ready to support or lead EU Projects to expand the initial scope and coordinate more than one FC. This opportunity is really important to improve project management skills and to deal with external stakeholders.
- During Q4 you will be deployed to the site management operational team, based on the need of the building.
- Ability to travel as needed within your area of responsibility. Domestic and regional travel estimate average: 0-10%. (Subject to change based on business need).
Basic Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited institution
- English & Local Language (Common European Framework of Reference C1)
- Experience in Operations as Area/Operations Manager or comparable experience
- High proficiency of technical knowledge of at least one Fulfilment process path (Quriosity silver/gold certification)
- Strong professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies

General Summary
The Henry Schein EMEA Supply Chain team is looking for an Industrial Engineer to act as a project manager for various levels of complexity projects in support of distribution operations and/or process improvement projects. This position will have an average of 35 – 45 % travel with a peak travel of ~60% may be required at times. This will vary depending on project locations and needs. The preferred candidate should be located close to any of our offices in FR/UK/DE/ES.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Evaluates warehouse processes and material handling methods for process improvements; improves distribution center productivity and reduces costs
- Supports and manages the design and engineering efforts for all material storage and handling and technology project including: establish engineering-based equipment requirements and bid specifications, develops RFP Design/Build Packages, evaluates, and selects suppliers, evaluates project alternatives, develops drawings in AutoCAD including conceptual and detailed layouts, manages Project Implementations, Schedule, and Capital/Project Budgets
- Analyzes operational data to assist in resolving issues utilizing MS Access, Excel, SQL/Python, Oracle, or others.
- Develops project scopes, specifications and estimates as needed.
- Manages diverse projects and project teams in the development and execution of single or multiple projects. Coordinates activities across operations, engineering, information systems, and the entire organization, as needed.
- Defines activities, sequences of events, dependencies, duration of tasks required to complete the project via Formal Project Schedules or Project Plans.
- Assess and manages project risks including engineering, technical, financial, or business factors facing the project.
- Communicates timely project status and issues.
- Performs analyses of completed and ongoing project spending – reviews spending for past projects, forecasts, and develops budget for future projects.
- Performs time studies, as required and establishes time-studied standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7+ years experience in Industrial Engineering in a distribution environment with project management experience, or the equivalent required
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or the equivalent required.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Access (and database functions), MS Excel, MS Project.Knowledge of LEAN / Six Sigma Engineering, Warehouse Technology, Advanced Conveyor Systems, electrical/mechanical systems knowledge is desirable.
- Good analytical and project leadership experience
- Ability to communicate and organise across various levels within the organisation
- Very good English and at least one European language at the native level
