Our customer manufacture high-end products servicing the marine sector with an ever-increasing product range. Customer expectations are excellent in product design, cost and delivery performance.
As a Patio Door Assembler in the fabrication department, you will be responsible for assembling and build high end quality large stainless steel patio doors. Applicants must have experience of working within small batch production environment and be capable of lifting/handling large items. Individuals must be willing to learn and be capable of working both as part of a team and on their own. Experience in the use of hand tools is essential
Responsibilities:
· Drive and promote a safe and empowering environment.
· Promote “Right First Time” ethos with team members.
· Meet and/or exceed agreed objectives and targets.
· Must be able to read and understand engineer drawings
· Strong attention to detail
· Maintaining good housekeeping is vital when producing high end quality products.
· Good attitude towards Health and Safety

· The ability to organise self and work independently when required.
· Ability to think on one’s feet and react quickly to issues
· IT literate, confident in use of email, Word and Excel.

Carry out perpetual inventory checks, as per the schedule, keep the material stores area clean and tidy.
General Manufacturing Operative will have previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment. Proven manual handling ability, this role will involve heavy lifting up to 25kgs.
Good Interpersonal skills for communicating with other production staff. Ability to safely use basic workshop equipment, e.g. saw, linisher, pillar drill.
