Our client based in Littlehampton, West Sussex, are searching for a driven Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic manufacturing team. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll support the transition of products from New Product Introduction (NPI) to full-scale production.You’ll also lead and support key improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across the manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Littlehampton.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, tools, and processes for efficient production.
- Lead continuous improvement and capital investment projects across manufacturing.
- Act as a technical liaison between Advanced Engineering and Production teams.
- Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies for encapsulation equipment.
- Drive process validation activities including simulation, experimentation, and documentation.
- Recommend and introduce new equipment, tools, and line-balancing improvements.
- Collaborate across departments including Design, Test, Documentation, and Purchasing to solve manufacturing challenges.
Requirements as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Littlehampton.

My client, a leading engineering company based close to Basingstoke is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Technician on an ongoing temporary basis. There is the potential for the role to become permanant after a period of time (typically 3-6 months).
The role will work on a double dayshift, working 06.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 22.00 which will rotate weekly.
Ideally, candidates will have a background within engineering / manufacturing and be familiar with general engineering practises, machinery and measuring equipment.
Candidates must be able to start immediately or a maximum of a week after successful interview and offer to start - so please only apply if you are available immediately or maximum 1 week from an offer. We will hold a short interview on my clients site in Basingstoke.
Duties to include:
- Laying up & cutting of raw materials.
- Operate process machines to produce moulded products.
- Working to drawings and work Instructions
- Machining of components, adjusting timings as per work instructions.
- Tool set up; preparation; loading; operation; unloading; & linishing.
- Manufacture of products which will involve moulding/bonding/assembly processes
- Self-inspection / quality checking of products and finishing of products where required (trimming etc).
- Testing and line-inspection of components, general quality inspection.
- Fill out necessary paperwork relating to the product.
Hours of work are 06.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 22.00 which will rotate weekly. A competitive hourly rate of £15.87 per hour (£30,946 per annum) is on offer for the right candidates.
