  • Collaborate with Procurement to integrate technical considerations into supplier selection and strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Participate in cross-functional reviews relating to design changes, risk mitigation, and supply chain readiness.
  • Travel is a key part of the role – approximately 90% within the UK and 10% to suppliers outside the UK .


About You:

  • Experience in manufacturing engineering, supply chain, or technical procurement within high-integrity sectors (e.g. defence, aerospace, marine, or advanced manufacturing).
  • Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, PCBAs, coatings, welding, NDT, or composites.
  • Confident interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering specifications.
  • Skilled in supplier relationship management and effective at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems and engineering documentation.
  • Must be eligible to obtain relevant UK security clearance.
