Location: The Pizza Factory, Nottingham
Shift Pattern: 4 days a week, Wednesday - Saturday 6AM-6PM

About the Role
The Manufacturing Manager will lead operations across the entire factory, working cross-functionally with quality, safety, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and delivery of top-quality products. You will have 3 x Shift Managers as direct reports and you'll be hands-on in driving continuous improvement, managing risk assessments, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee full factory operations, ensuring products meet quality and cost standards
* Manage and support the Shift Managers to ensure consistent performance across 24-hour operations
* Lead risk assessments, training, and accident investigations
* Ensure quality issues are fully resolved and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented
* Build a culture of accountability, holding teams to high performance standards
About You
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with short shelf life food experience, excellent managerial skills, and a continuous improvement mindset. You'll need to be confident in managing large teams, drive operational excellence, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong managerial experience with the ability to lead and challenge teams
* Experience managing a large workforce
* Food manufacturing background is essential but pizzeria experience is desirable
* Proven track record in continuous improvement (Yellow/Green Belt preferred)
* Auditing experience and customer-facing skills
* Level 3 Food Safety and IOSH qualification (NEBOSH preferred)
