As a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on both Grinding and Forging, you will play a pivotal role in developing, standardising, and optimising manufacturing processes across both disciplines. You’ll work hands-on with CNC and manual grinding equipment, forging presses, and associated tooling, while also supporting operator training and SOP development.

- Conduct quality checks and ensure conformance to technical drawings
- Lead process improvements and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
- Operate and support mechanical presses, induction heaters, and die casting machines
- Interpret and modify CAD drawings to meet design and production requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production solutions and automation integration
- Provide hands-on support with hydraulic systems and mechanical fault diagnosis
Technical Expertise Required:
- CNC and manual centreless grinding
- Diamond dressing technology
- Tool and fixture design
- Forging processes including die casting, bending, and forming
- Experience with nickel and alloy materials
- Understanding of speeds and feeds for wheel trimming
- Familiarity with ERP systems (advantageous)
- SolidWorks experience (training can be provided)
