Manufacturing Planner (ERP/MRP)
Salary: 32k - 35k DOE
Location: Gillingham
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:15. Alternate Fridays: 07:00 - 11:00.
Our well-established client in Gillingham are looking to add to their team with an opportunity for a Manufacturing Planner who has experience of using either ERP or MRP software. The role offers opportunities to progression opportunities and the chance to play a key role in a major firm.
You will be responsible for monitoring the progress of multiple projects - redistributing materials and personnel where necessary to minimise any potential delays affecting deadlines. It is critical that the person in this role has experience of using Excel and ERP or MRP software, and is comfortable with managing the expectations of project managers and key stakeholders. Although the position doesn't require you to purchase or order materials, you will need to check stock levels and forecast any potential issues that will affect the delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining manufacturing plans and schedules.
- Monitoring and adjusting plans as projects progress to meet critical lead times.
- Proactively identifying and resolving planning or scheduling issues.
- Using ERP/MRP systems and Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Managing materials, schedules, and team expectations across multiple active projects.
- Liaising with engineers, team leaders, and supply chain staff to ensure seamless project flow.
- Providing clear communication and solutions to potential delays and other challenges.
