Manufacturing Operative - Temp to Perm
Location: Braintree, Essex
Shift Options: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Pay Rate: 13.71 per hour + overtime | Pay increase once permanent

What you'll be doing:
- Using hand and power tools to cut, measure, and prepare products
- Supporting production line tasks to ensure smooth workflow
- Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards
- Handling materials and completing manual tasks (including heavy lifting)
- Working collaboratively with a large, established team to meet targets
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or construction setting (essential)
- Confident in the use of hand and power tools

*Organising stores and handling goods in/out, including packaging and inspections
*Processing inventory and stock movements using internal systems
*Supporting the build team and assisting in test preparations
*Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records
*Kitting jobs to meet production requirements
*Conducting monthly and annual stock checks
*Supporting outgoing shipments and goods out processes
*Reducing slow-moving or obsolete stock
*Working across multiple departments to gain business-wide insight
Training and Development:
*You will be enrolled in a suitable Engineering/Manufacturing apprenticeship programme delivered by a local college via day release.
*You'll gain a nationally recognised qualification alongside real-world experience.
*You'll also benefit from cross-departmental exposure, building a broad understanding of how a modern manufacturing business operates.
Requirements:
