Responsibilities - Manufacturing Technician

- Monitor and replenish stock levels using Kanban systems and follow stores requisition procedures.

Your Time at Work
As a Manufacturing Operative, the key duties of the post are as follows;
- Manufacture bulk products from a variety of raw materials following BMRs.
- Manufacture bulk products in batch sizes up to six tonnes.
- Dispense raw materials following Product Formula Sheets.
- Adjust product parameters (e.g. PH level, viscosity, colour etc.) when necessary as per product specifications.
- Set up connections between vessels to enable both hot and cold liquid transfers.
- Unload bulk products and calculate yields.
- Ensure batches are produced on time, and in accordance to product specifications and standards.
- Ensure manufacturing vessels are kept clean and any faults are reported immediately so corrective action can be taken.
- Operate electric-powered pallet/stacker truck.
- Be responsible and accountable for the completion of own BMRs.
- Ensure documentation is accurately maintained and relevant information communicated as appropriate.
- Liaise with other departments to organise storage of finished batches when necessary.
- Enhance safety, quality and efficiency.
- Ensure that all operations are performed in a safe way, and safe working practices are followed at all times.
- Maintain high standards of GMP at all times.

The role will work on a double dayshift, working 06.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 22.00 which will rotate weekly.
Ideally, candidates will have a background within engineering / manufacturing and be familiar with general engineering practises, machinery and measuring equipment.

Duties to include:
