Located in the East Hull area and working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday (39 hours), assisting in the production of uPVC windows and doors. (Training provided)
Benefits:
- £12.21 per hour

Duties:
- Drilling uPVC Frames for handles, hinges, catchments
- Glazing windows
- Quality checking of uPVC window frames
- Fixing handles, hinges etc.
- Fixing rubber seals into window frames
- Frequent use of tools
- Assisting on production machinery
Requirements:
- Applicants must have good previous manufacturing or factory operative experience.
- Able to commute reliably to HU9 area in good time for 6am start

Overtime also available at attractive premium rates - time and one half and double time based on hours worked
Working weekly rotating shifts OR day shift
Day shift: 12.60 / 6,206
- Monday -Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
Rotating shift: 15.75 / 2,760
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday 5:45 am-2:00 pm; Friday 5:45 am-12:45 pm
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 1:45 pm-11:45 pm (no work on Friday!)
Annual leave - 28 days initially, rising to 32 days after the completion of 12 weeks.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role or have DIY skills/experience in carpentry, plumbing, or general handywork. Those who have experience in assembly of any kind, but especially within large-scale products, can use hand tools, read from work instructions, and follow processes will suit this role well.
The ability to plan, organise, and meet deadlines effectively, and also be a team player with strong communication and collaboration skills, are all essential for this role.

Key responsibilities
Ensure the maintenance of all housekeeping standards for all work areas.
Ensure generation and maintenance of all relevant documentation.
Work closely with all functional links in a professional, polite and efficient manner.
Work to customer specifications using all information available i.e. Standard Operating Procedures and Engineering drawings while checking off first of items to minimise scrap, defects i.e. cost.
This role has responsibilities that have Cell specific tasks are assigned in a secondary Document that details individual tasks.
