Our well established client based in Bradford near Wyke, BD12 are looking to recruit a manufacturing machine operatorfor a temporary toPERMANENT contract placement.
THE ROLE:
- Assisting machine operatives with smooth running of the production lines
- Palletising at the end of the line using an automated palletiser
- Checking goods on the pallet trays ensuring quality
- Progressing further through the production process
- Working an a team, in a large production/manufacturing environment
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
- Completing production paperwork where necessary
THE CANDIDATE:
- Ideally you will have production line or machine operating experience
- Must have a good attitude towards work, and ensure efficiency in your work
- Must have good timekeeping and attendance - the ability to show up to work is crucial
- Must be confident checking off and completing basic paperwork/reading paperwork
- Good communication skills are required for this role
- MUST be able to travel to WYKE for 06:00 (MORNING) and work 12 hour shifts
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- 12.21 on Days and 13.43 on Nights

Key Responsibilities:

- Excellent communication, organisational, and structured problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of SAP and MRP systems (desirable)
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification (desirable)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications

About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a major player in the Defence sector and play a key role in supporting our production and assembly operations. Key Responsibilities

What our Factory IT Manager will do:
Nexperia Manchester employs over 1000 people across Production, Engineering, and site support services, working together to produce over 14,000 semiconductors each week. Reporting to the Head of Front-end Manufacturing IT, the Factory IT Manager will lead and manage all IT operations within the wafer fabrication facility. This includes tool interfaces, factory automation, manufacturing execution systems, and data infrastructure. As well as being responsible for ensuring 24/7 uptime of the factory IT systems, you will also drive transformation initiatives, whilst maintaining cybersecurity and compliance within the factory environment. This position offers a rare opportunity to make an impact within IT operations at one of the UK’s largest semiconductor manufacturing sites, whilst inspiring a growing team of IT professionals.
Key responsibilities will also include:

What the Factory IT Manager will need:
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, related field, or relevant industrial experience < i>7+ years of IT experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of factory manufacturing systems, including MES (e.g., FACTORYworks, Camstar, or proprietary), Tool Automation, SECS/GEM protocols, Plant Maintenance (Xsite), APC/SPC systems
