Overview:
We now require an additional Manufacturing Engineer to join the team. Working in modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufacture precision engineered components.
You will be working in a first-class precision engineering environment that have processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of outsourced processes also.
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be working in a technical role managing projects for the customer from customer enquiry, quotations to writing manufacturing methods/SOP's and delivery to the customer.
You will create manufacturing route cards to ensure the best methods to manufacture liaising with internal departments whilst also managing any external resources required for the project.
The ideal candidate Manufacturing Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
1. Qualified to HNC level.
2. Knowledge of processes such as - machining and/or fabrication.
3. Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills.
4. Competence in Office particularly Excel, Word and Project.
5. Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
6. Ability to read manufacturing drawings and specifications and break out the details and processes required for each operation required for manufacture.
