- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma methodologies, and Lean manufacturing principles.

This is a rare opportunity to shape and influence supplier engagement from day one, acting as the key technical interface between internal engineering and the external supply chain.

- Experience in manufacturing engineering, supply chain, or technical procurement within high-integrity sectors (e.g. defence, aerospace, marine, or advanced manufacturing).
- Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, PCBAs, coatings, welding, NDT, or composites.
- Confident interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering specifications.
- Skilled in supplier relationship management and effective at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems and engineering documentation.
- Must be eligible to obtain relevant UK security clearance.
