Your new role
As Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and improving manufacturing systems, procedures, and equipment. Working closely with the Lead Engineer, you'll drive efficiency, implement lean principles, and support production teams to meet ambitious timelines. This is a dynamic role suited to someone with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include planning and implementing cost-effective production methods for sub-components and finished machines, coordinating with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues. Creating and maintaining build/drawing packs in line with Engineering Change Orders and New Product Development and driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Line Balance, 5S, and Poke Yoke. Ensuring safe working practices across all processes. Providing hands-on support to the manufacturing department.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need a minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience, along with, strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 3D modelling software and experience in Lean Manufacturing and familiarity with machine shop/fabrication environments. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. A logical, methodical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.

Based in the Limavady area, my client is a leading manufacturer to the construction industry.
Due to further expansion, they have created the new additional position of Graduate Design Engineer (Mechanical). The order books are full and our client is offering a secure, well paid job. On offer is a salary of £28,000 - £30,000, pension, hybrid working and paid overtime.
Role - Graduate Design Engineer
- Detailing engineering drawings for manufacture
- 3D modelling of bespoke machinery and plant Maintenance of user documentation
- Creation and maintenance of BOMs for manufacture and production
- Achieve weekly KPIs and record same for weekly meetings.
Person - Graduate Design Engineer
- Minimum 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a related product design or engineering subject.
- Experience in using 3D design Software

Do you want to work for an engineering company who has full order books over the next few years, and who offers hybrid working and a great package? My client based in the Limavady area are a specialised engineering / manufacturing company who are one of the market leaders in their field.
They are currently going through a recruitment campaign to hire the best of the best staff at the moment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join their already strong projects team. Salary is £34,000 - £44,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, pension, excellent holidays and an early finish every Friday.
Role:
- Source suppliers based on the BOM and engineering specifications provided. Liaising with design engineers on suitable alternatives / variations when required
- Purchase equipment ensuring compliance to budget and company procedures
- Work with the Commercial Team to draw up individual project plans and budgets and ensure milestones are met.
- Distribute documentation and drawings to subcontractors to ensure the correct revision is available for fabrication or assembly
- Regular visits to Subcontractors premises to co-ordinate and review production.
- Liaising with design team to ensure specifications are met and quality checks carried out prior to handover
- Ensure factory acceptance tests / quality checks are performed and documented
Person:
- Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (mechanical or similar)
- Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in a project engineering position or very similar role
