We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team across all our sites - commercial and manufacturing in Hull. This is a crucial role in ensuring our production equipment, facilities, and commercial buildings operate efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

The role requires a mix of 50% electrical, 50% mechanical engineering, alongside building and site maintenance responsibilities across our manufacturing and commercial facilities.

About the Role:

You will work across all sites to maintain the buildings and equipment and carry out work as required as well as organise planned maintenance to ensure compliance and safety. In this role you will be required to work across all our sites (commercial and manufacturing) working closely with the manufacturing team maintaining to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all planned preventative maintenance is conducted to avoid production disruption. You will work across all sites to maintain the buildings and equipment and carry out work as required as well as organise planned maintenance to ensure compliance and safety.

  • Ideally HNC, HND or degree qualified or apprentice with time served experience and excellent practical knowledge gained in a similar food manufacturing setting
  • Minimum 3 years', hands on post qualification experience
  • A methodical approach to fault finding
  • Conversant with UK Health & Safety rules, regulations and best practices
  • Ability to priorities workload and concisely record information
  • Knowledge of PLC's, pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Knowledge and experience of BRCGS for Engineering and Food Manufacturing
