Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Offline Programmer Key skills:
 
- Experience of offline programming
- Familiar with ERP/MRP systems
- Produce, update, maintain manufacturing documentation

- Design bespoke jigs/fixturing to support manufacturing and inspection

The Learning & Development Specialist role is responsible for ensuring that the Dalston factory is fully compliant with external and Nestlé standards & for ongoing support for training and development to ensure we continue to make great frothy coffee.

**A day in the life of a Learning & Development Specialist - Manufacturing**
The successful candidate will display strong coaching, development and people skills required to drive performance through capability building.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
+ Driving mandatory training compliance on site. Ensuring completion of all site mandatory training on time and in full and reporting to comply with Nestle and External standards.
+ Responsible for leading and driving the processes that ensure operational competence of individuals on site. Working in partnership with line manager to ensure the training provision is effective.
+ Developing and executing the site annual training plan and managing the training budget in-line with factory training requirements. This will include training needs analysis, evaluation, and managing training records.
+ Day to day running of the Training Centre and development of the training delivered aligned with the factory priorities.
+ Manage the new starter induction process to ensure all new employees are inducted onto site and complete initial required training before commencing their roles.
+ Lead the site apprenticeship program, developing our talent pipeline in-line with market and government standards in close cooperation with the Nestle Academy. Supporting each apprentice to develop the relevant skills and behaviours to move into the defined "End Role".

Experience of working in a shoe manufacturing environment is preferred although full training will be given to the right candidate.

- Stitching ballet shoes (this involves stitching satin and canvas uppers to a leather sole) using a K welted stitching machine
- Adjusting and setting the machine when required
- Performing other general duties in ballet departments
