The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that all Quality standards are achieved for both manufactured and purchased products. Providing the final point of inspection for the products and maintaining reports and performance metrics. Raising quality non-conformance reports (NCR) and supporting the problem resolution process, including Containment, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective and Preventative Actions.

Our client is a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Quality Control Manager for their state-of-the-art facility in Coventry, West Midlands, UK . This is a crucial leadership position responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company's quality management systems to ensure all manufactured products meet the stringent standards demanded by the automotive industry. You will lead a dedicated team of quality inspectors and technicians, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive quality control plans, procedures, and standards in line with ISO/TS 16949 (or IATF 16949) and other relevant automotive industry requirements. You will oversee all aspects of incoming, in-process, and final product inspection, ensuring adherence to specifications. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis, and the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). You will work closely with engineering and production teams to address quality issues proactively and drive process improvements. Key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality will be monitored and reported on regularly to senior management.
