+ Become a first line technical resource in JT cooler function and manufacture-this means understanding the manufacturing processes involved but also learning and understanding how a JT cooler works on a technical level, in order to assess failure modes (I don't expect the candidate to come into this role with JT knowledge, we will provide training, but the candidate will need the willingness to learn and a fair degree of technical acumen).
+ Support our production organization in all facets of their work, becoming an often seen and first point of contact individual for our production operators regarding any line issues.
+ Be responsible for a number of areas, possibly including: production issues resolution, Root Cause Corrective Action reviews, Part and process concessions/waivers/deviations, equipment maintenance and support.
+ Support our quality organization in resolution of key hardware non-conformities.

Minimum Qualifications
· 5+ years relevant experience in a Manufacturing Operations focused role
· Experience using MES software in a production environment
· Experience with Manufacturing facility monitoring preferred
· A basic knowledge of networking and CNC controls

We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to take responsibility for assessing and maintaining testing processes and equipment to ensure the safe operation, quality, and functionality of products within our manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will analyze test equipment performance and conduct capacity studies to ensure solutions meet all production requirements. You will work collaboratively with design, production, and quality teams to ensure that test systems and associated equipment entering production are fit for purpose and have undergone the necessary First Time Right (FTR) checks.

**Job Description**
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
+ Assess and develop test plans, procedures, and equipment for manufacturing processes.
+ Conduct tests and inspections to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
+ Analyse test data and results to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
+ Collaborate with TE sustainment, product engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues associated with test equipment and fixtures.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
+ Assess technical debt associated with all test equipment, work alongside TE sustainment group to resolve open concerns
+ Provide technical support and training to production staff on testing procedures and equipment.
+ Continuously monitor testing processes to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
+ Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
+ Analytics and performance assessment of production TE
+ Capability and capacity analysis in line with S&OP demands
+ FTR planning and execution for new test equipment and associated hardware
+ TPM definition and deployment to production and response teams
+ DFT guidance generation

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and equipment.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma).
+ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Background in engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
**Desirable Characteristics:**
+ Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
+ Lean Manufacturing certifications.
+ Strong organisational and time management skills.
+ Adaptability to changing priorities and challenges.
+ Ability to mentor and develop team members.
