The Manufacturing Operations Analyst will analyze and interpret data. The role will operate at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans, working under general direction of the site manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead hiring for production and support roles, screen applicants, co-ordinate interviews and lead employee hiring and onboarding meetings.
+ Develop and maintain staffing plans and shift schedules to meet production goals and minimize overtime and downtime.
+ Design, deliver, and maintain orientation and onboarding programs for new hires (safety, SOPs, quality, equipment, company culture).
+ Create, manage, and update training curricula, competency checklists, and certification/tracking systems for operators and technicians.
+ Partner with department managers and supervisors to identify skill gaps, succession needs, and training priorities.
+ Use production data to forecast labor needs, model staffing scenarios, and recommend process or staffing changes.
+ Track and report key workforce metrics (turnover, time-to-fill, training completion, competency pass rates, absenteeism).
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives around operator productivity, standard work, and training effectiveness (e.g., reduce onboarding time, increase First Time Quality).
+ Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements in all staffing and training materials.
**Required Experience/Qualifications:**
+ 3+ years' experience in manufacturing operations, workforce planning, training development/delivery, or a related role.
+ Demonstrated experience in recruiting, onboarding, and training production staff.
+ Strong analytical skills with experience using production and HR data to guide decisions.
+ Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Proficient with Microsoft applications

TMUK Lincoln are looking for a key individual to join our Manufacturing Team based at Firth Road in Lincoln.
This is a hands-on role in which the successful candidate will work closely with the Production team to assemble and deliver highly technical RF and electronic assemblies for niche Microwave Radar applications.
**What you'll be involved in:**
+ To manufacture, wire bond, epoxy and solder PCB and RF assemblies in line with document packs.
+ Accurately maintain production data, records, assessments and manufacturing paperwork, raising change requests to keep the documentation current.
+ Proactively help to manage and promote safe working in compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulation, procedures and other company requirements.
+ Work to meet or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly production output targets as agreed with management.
+ Complete support repair work for customer returns within agreed timescales.
+ To support and be involved in changes supporting housekeeping and visual management program.
**What we're looking for in you:**
Must be able to demonstrate the following:
+ High level of dexterity and attention to detail; using hand tools, soldering, wire bonding and silver epoxy mount, and demonstrating ESD compliance.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical data.
+ Relevant qualifications or experience in electrical/electronic engineering.
+ Accurately managing own material inventory.
+ Availability to work extra hours or shift work as required to meet customer demand.
Desired:
+ Further/Higher education in a related subject area e.g. Electronics.
+ Experienced using SAP in a production environment.
+ Knowledge of Lean tools.
+ Proficient in standard Microsoft Office application

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their remote team. As a fully remote engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites. Your expertise will be critical in enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and supporting the company's growth objectives. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, and the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Design, develop, and validate manufacturing equipment and tooling.
  • Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Manage projects related to process upgrades, automation, and new equipment implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Train production personnel on new processes and equipment.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor and improve process performance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proven experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, automation, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and processes.
