International Card Services (ICS) is the leading provider of Credit Cards, Business Financing, T&E Solutions, Supplier Payments, and Cross-Border Payments that help consumer, small, mid-size, and large corporations around the world manage nearly every facet of their business spending.
The Business Analytics team in Analytics & Strategic Insights (ASI), part of the ICS Center of Excellence (COE), focuses on embedding actionable insights into strategic initiatives across every stage of the customer lifecycle both centrally and within markets, through self-serve insight tools, custom analytics projects and stakeholder engagement and training.
How will you make an impact in this role?
This Director role leads a team of 10, working with a range of stakeholders across international markets and central teams to identify and develop custom insight and analytic solutions to embed insights into ICS strategic initiatives across the customer lifecycle; encouraging engagement and understanding among those stakeholders. The Director will also be responsible for driving engagement with the wider ICS community on self-serve insight tools and identifying needs to enhance these capabilities.
The ideal colleague would be passionate about turning numbers and percentages into crisp, concise insights that can drive action; a keen storyteller who can connect numbers to actions and coach others to do the same.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and support a team of 10 highly skilled and experienced managers and analysts dispersed geographically.
- Provide strategic thought leadership across COE teams, ICS markets and Senior Leadership by developing action-oriented custom analytics and self-serve insight tools, primarily focused on customer marketing and premium product and benefits.
- Be a key point of contact for International Markets analytics needs, helping to triage analytics requests across central and local teams.
- Drive strategy of International self serve insight tools, leading creation of new tools, enhancement of existing tools and creating engagement and understanding for the product set across a non technical audience.
- Lead maintenance and enhancement of consistent, accurate, reliable and elevated data to power the team’s analytics, including leading the move to Lumi (cloud environment).
- Partner with ICS Governance and Control Team, to ensure we comply with all regulatory asks across markets by delivering detailed level information about our customers and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Highly analytical with a strong ability to demonstrate strategic thought leadership, synthesize, visualize, and communicate complex data into clear insights and strategic thinking
- Ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical teams, working in a consultative manner with a variety of colleagues
- Excellent storytelling skills, being able to link to the “so what”.
- Strong business and financial competence, with quantitative skills and creativity in developing insightful analytics.
- Exemplary people leadership skills with the ability to create a vision and plan for a high performing team and bring a geographically diverse team together to deliver.
- Ability to proactively prioritize and work across multiple concurrent work streams taking a pragmatic approach to prioritizing and delivering at pace.
- Passionate about driving engagement and coaching/training on topics.
- Excellent skill level in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SQL programming and experience with Tableau is preferred.
- Familiarity with ICS business and stakeholder context and a nuanced understanding of international markets is preferred.
