As Diagnostics Country Marketing Manager UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan to increase market share, and revenue within the UK&I region for Hologic’s molecular diagnostic solutions portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the UK diagnostic healthcare market with knowledge of the Cervical / Molecular diagnostic space, as well as the ability to work closely with other business functions including sales, regional marketing, communications, and market access.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Participate in strategic planning to ensure long term profitable growth opportunities are supported.
- Develop and implement country-specific marketing strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Implement account-based marketing strategies to drive growth in key accounts.
- Drive digital acceleration across marketing to create further customer engagement, using tools such as Salesforce and Pardot.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support product launches, promotions, and sales initiatives.
- Create and manage a marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Develop educational and promotional materials for healthcare professionals and customers.
- Liaise with regulatory and legal teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with other business functions including regional marketing, communications, sales, market access, medical & scientific to ensure alignment of activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and professional associations within the UK diagnostic field.
- Provide training and support to the sales team on product knowledge and marketing initiatives.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related life science field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of UK/European-based marketing or combination of sales and marketing experience required.
- Experience in Diagnostics business with understanding of clinical microbiology / molecular diagnostics, required.
- Knowledge of the NHS & laboratory landscape.
- Understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements in diagnostic marketing.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
- Skilled in account based marketing campaign development and execution.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills
- Experience managing products through their lifecycle

- Paid Marketing Campaigns: Plan, set up, review, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and PPC to achieve targeted engagement and meet KPIs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams including international recruitment, design, communications, social media, and insights to ensure cohesive and measurable marketing activities.
- Support the designing and testing of email campaigns as part of a communications plan which follows the student recruitment cycle
You should have experience across the marketing mix, particularly in delivering integrated, measurable solutions in digital and social media marketing.
