  • Strong foundational understanding of the value drivers across the Media sector and views on the outlook for this sector.
  • Experience of leading mid-sized and large projects: designing work plans, team structures and then managing these to (i) excellent client output and (ii) strong project economics.
  • This should include an extensive coverage of recent M&A transactions, eg CDD, VDD, M&A Strategy or Value Creation projects in the Media sector.
  • Evidence of taking responsibility for designing proposals, scopes and pricing for mid-sized and large consulting assignments.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members and broader (internal and external) stakeholders.
  • Strong track record of building followership among more junior staff members.
  • Pro-active role in business development activity, designing client ready pitches, generating differentiated insights and holding personal client relationships.
  • Non-client facing roles in driving practice forward in areas such as team management, training, technical tool development, liaison with service suppliers etc.

Role purpose

The Destination Manager achieve the short term and long term goals in assigned destination for Student Placement. Provide inputs to support development and execute the destination wise activity calendars to deliver pipeline leads and conversion targets by intake. Train and maintain the approved number of certified counsellors for the destination. Build strong client support through ongoing engagement, quality service to students and clients, high quality applications. Effectively implement global priority projects at country/office. Be a productive and effective member of office leadership team and support Branch Manager through exhibiting a collaborative operating style

Key accountabilities

Achieve targets for Leads, Applications and Students Placed –by destination and by intake.

p>Timely preparation and execution of activity calendars in line with target dates.

Destination client satisfaction ratings.

Maintain trained and certified counsellor numbers by destination.

Successful implementation of global priorities –100% C4C adoption across all counsellors.

p>Develop a strong Counselling, Sales team to oversee the creation of a dynamic, inclusive work place, building the culture while recognising and celebrating innovation, success and achievement.

Speedily determine when an issue needs to be escalated to the Supervisor for resolution.

Proactively provide feedback and advice to the Supervisor on the management of office and on issues arising from competitor activities, changing business environments, change in student visa policies etc.

Drive the development and implementation of destination based office business plans.

Provide inputs and once budget is set monitor Pipeline and Revenue budgets of the zone.

Monitor results and initiate corrective action where required.

Collaborate with Supervisor to implement forecasting methodologies and processes to achieve accurate, timely pipeline forecasts.

Develop and maintain a strong sales and service culture within the business. Drive Customer

Satisfaction by regular monitoring and reporting.

Required experience

Knowledge of Digital Marketing current best practices and understanding of Digital production processes; Pay-Per-Click, Paid Search experience is a must.

Knowledge of Strategic planning and processes for brand management and creative development, including research tools and evaluation of results.

Knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Strategic content creation and excellent writing skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

3+ years overall digital marketing experience within a corporate marketing department or agency

BA/BS degree from an accredited university

Google AdWords is a must, Bing certification is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and writing skills

Fluency in English is a must

Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
