Overview

This role offers the opportunity to shape the PR, social and influencer strategies of leading B2B and technology brands for one of the UK’s top B2B marketing firms. A diverse position encompassing strategic team & client leadership and campaign delivery across paid, earned, shared and owned channels to build brands and drive business success.

As Account Director, you will be responsible for the retention, growth and commercial success of your client portfolio. As an experienced leader in PR, social and influence, you will also be called on for consultancy and client development opportunities across Publicis Pro, particularly in influencer relations.

You will manage a team, including an account manager and executive, directing them to achieve client success as well as undertaking line management duties to ensure their positive career development. Along with your immediate team, you will also work closely with wider account teams (across client services, creative, media etc.) and Groupe partner agencies (where needed) to drive best-in-class approaches to PR, social and influencer relations.


Responsibilities

  • Drive client and campaign success for a portfolio of established and high growth tech and B2B brands across PR, social and influencer, hitting objectives and KPIs

  • Manage and grow a small team (AM and AE) to deliver high impact campaigns driving impact for your clients

  • Provide expert strategic consultancy to your clients and other Publicis Pro clients, around PR, social and influencer disciplines, supporting client growth

  • Collaborate with other Publicis Pro divisions to drive client impact, from creative to media – deploying the full PESO mix.

  • Stay up to date on the latest developments in B2B PR, social and influence, bringing these insights to the agency, impacting how we operate and positively driving client success

  • Support Client Partners and the Head of Influence to identify and develop existing and new client opportunities, enabling clients to achieve more and build their brands effectively

  • Supporting the Head of Influence to evolve overall Influence division services, with a particular emphasis on influencer and social media activities

  • Consult on and input into proposals and new business opportunities to ensure cutting-edge ideas and practice is deployed across social

  • Forge links and working relationships with relevant agencies in Groupe to support on large campaigns and areas outside of expertise

  • Be an advocate for Influence (PR and social) offerings across the business, contributing to thought leadership content, events and sharing ideas on social media.


Qualifications

  • Experience working in an agency environment within PR, social and influencer relations

  • Experience developing and delivering influencer and social media campaigns

  • A verified passion for B2B and tech – ideally you get excited by the ‘arcane’

  • An ability to understand and communicate complex topics in understandable and interesting ways

  • Digitally savvy, active on social channels with a clear interest in the evolution of communications

  • An understanding of the full PESO mix and how key activities and channels can interplay to drive client visibility

  • A collaborative spirit and someone who is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning

  • Commercially astute with an understanding of the agency business model and managing clients accordingly
