Your role:

Your responsibilities:
- Work as part of an agile development team to implement mobile applications for iOS devices to deliver enterprise services
- Writeautomatedunit and integration tests for your code
- Design, in collaboration with other developers, product management and the user experience team, user interfaces and software implementations that satisfy business requirements
- Design, in collaboration with the architecture team, the system architectures that satisfy business requirements
- Collaborate with SDETs (Software Development Engineers in Test) in development of test cases for code
- Document code and detail designs
- Collaborate with product owners on user story generation and refinement
- Monitor and support operation of production systems
- Participate in knowledge sharing activities with colleagues
About you:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience building native applications for Apple devices with Swift
- Excellent problem solving skills and a love for technical challenges
- Understanding of the principles of computer science
- Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles, design patterns, algorithm design
- Strong architectural knowledge (TCA, Redux, Functional Reactive Programming, MVVM) and passionate about writing clean, modular and testable code
- Deep understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation, structured concurrency and dependency injection
- Experience with source code management
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Ability to debate the pros and cons of different technical approaches and work independently
- Ability to provide insight into iOS development best practices and support decisions around framework and tool choices

Future's mobile app products are a core source of revenue and projected growth. You will be part of Future's technology investment, focused on rolling out new apps for our broad range of brands.
Reporting to the Tech Lead, you'll be an important member of Future's Apps Team, working in close collaboration with the wider Technology & Engineering department.

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Software QA Manager, you will be working as part of a small development team to ensure the successful delivery of new mobile software to our users.
You will continue to evolve good practice in the planning and documentation of app testing within an agile development environment, and in the appropriate use of automated testing. Contributing to the continual evolution of our test approaches and tools will be a key part of your role.
You will work closely with the rest of the QA Team, as well as Software Developers, Product Designers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters from across our Engineering Department.

- Familiar with git-based workflows (pull requests, rebasing, etc.) and the principles of Continuous Integration (CI).
- Self-motivated, with a track record of improving test processes and coverage.
