Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Forefront RF at an early stage, and have a real impact. We are looking for an experienced Module Reliability Engineer to take ownership of the reliability qualification of our novel RF System-in-Package (SiP) modules. In this hands-on and cross-functional role, you will ensure our technology meets the stringent robustness and reliability requirements of high-volume telecom applications.
As a Module Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Forefront RF’s novel RF (SiP) modules meet stringent robustness and reliability requirements. You will define, execute, and analyze test plans to validate new materials, assembly processes, packaging schemes under realistic and accelerated conditions.
This role is essential in bridging R&D innovation with product robustness enabling our technology to meet the standards of high-volume telecom customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute reliability qualification plans for new RF modules (incl. thermal cycling, vibration, mechanical shock, moisture sensitivity, etc.).
- Design and implement custom stress and test setups where needed.
- Manage external labs or partners for outsourced testing, reliability qualification and failure analysis.
- Collaborate with design, packaging, and test engineering teams to address and mitigate identified reliability risks.
- Lead Design-for-Reliability (DfR) reviews in early development stages.
- Analyse test results using statistical methods (Weibull, MTTF, etc.) to derive product lifetime and identify weak points.
- Work closely with foundries, assembly and test houses, and customers to support qualification activities and external reliability audits.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., JEDEC, ISO 9001).
- Contribute to the development of reliability documentation and customer reports.
About you:

- Degree in Electronics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience in reliability engineering within RF, semiconductors, or advanced electronics.
- Familiar with JEDEC reliability standards and environmental stress testing.
- Solid understanding of RF (SiP) module architectures and the impact of packaging on performance and reliability.
- Demonstrated expertise in thermal and mechanical simulation of RF modules and electronic assemblies, using advanced tools to predict stress, fatigue life, and heat distribution under accelerated testing conditions.
- Experience with failure analysis methods including cross-sectioning, X-ray inspection, SEM/EDX, and other techniques to identify material, mechanical, or process-related defects.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, Python).

As an RCM engineer, you will call upon your experience to facilitate and implement RCM philosophies and techniques whilst remaining compliant with the appropriate regulatory standards. You will report to the BDUK Support Engineering Manager whilst being technically supported by the RCM Technical Lead and our other capability specialists within the department.
In your role, you shall:
+ Conduct RCM analysis to agreed scope, quality and timescales
+ Review and process change requests initiated as part of continuous improvement processes, i.e., feedback from maintenance execution, failure investigations and reliability studies
+ Ensure proposed changes are compliant with agreed standards
+ Understand the customer requirements and advise on good RCM practice
+ Provide management reporting on progress (KPI's / Close-out reports)
+ Ensure defined RCM tasks are implemented / updated in the relevant tools
+ Maintain and further strengthen the reliability foundations, following a methodological approach.
Aside from your technical work you there is the potential to support company initiatives, for example, quality improvements, promoting a safety culture, promoting Diversity and Inclusion, mentoring and coaching, STEM outreach and a number of focus projects to support the growth of the company and its employees.
**Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:**
+ Engineer with a strong maintenance/ engineering background
+ Knowledge and application experienceof RCM or FMEA principles, practices and applications
+ Ideally have a Defence background but this is not essential

+ Proven ability to drive first time quality

About The Job:
As an Electrical PAT Testing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and functionality of both in-house and customer equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections, testing, and maintenance of hire stock electrical distribution units and equipment.
- Keeping accurate records and adhering to schedules to maintain equipment readiness.
- Ensuring compliance with company Health & Safety standards.
- Maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment including Audio, Lighting, Power Distribution, and Rigging systems.
- Assisting in new-build equipment projects to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and testing in accordance with established systems.
- Maintain detailed records of work conducted.
- Collaborate with team members while also being capable of working independently.
- Manage your workload efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
Personal Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 18th Edition Qualified Electrician certification.
- City & Guilds qualification in Inspection & Testing (e.g., 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395).
- City & Guilds 2377 qualification in PAT testing.
- Experience with Portable Appliance Testing and a strong understanding of 3-phase systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid UK driving licence and computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional requirements for overtime. Our client, one of the UK's leading Building Services Commissioning Consultancies, would like to employ a Junior/Trainee Electrical Testerto join their thriving team.
You will be 17 edition / NVQ Level 3 / AM2cenginer possibly with a 2391 / 2394/5 testing and inspection certificate or an interest in doing that.
You will be part of a team providing bespoke testing and inspection services and carrying out electrical condition surveys to a range of clients across London.
Your role will include:
- Testing electrical circuits.
- Condition reports - carrying out condition reports of electrical services.
- Preparing reports for clients.
This role would suit a good junior client-facing electrician with some interest in testing / validation.
